The Geoscience Outreach Foundation (GeoReach) is a nonprofit production and consulting group dedicated to improving public awareness, knowledge, and perceptions of the earth, environmental, and planetary sciences. We work directly with active geoscientists to create and execute public outreach projects about their research. We also work with science centers and museums, schools, and community organizations to address geoscience education needs from the local to national levels.

GeoReach is led by a Board of Directors of scientists, educators, media professionals, and community leaders. We bring together a staff of innovative and productive project leaders, each with a background in geoscience research plus education, journalism, media production, or museum work. With ties to both spheres—the scientific and public—we are able to create and facilitate linkages between the two, using a diversity of outlets from the media, education, and community infrastructures.

Please check out our news page for updates about our project work, as well as various snippets from the geoscience research and informal science education communities. And don't hesitate to submit a comment or send us an email to be in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!
